MSN, RN Lieutenant Commander, U. S. Public Health Service Research Nurse Specialist National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Disease, Bethesda, Maryland Raven McGlotten, MSN, RN, is a research nurse specialist with the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Disease. There she coordinates multiple clinical research studies with a focus in endocrinology and Cushing’s Syndrome, coordinating the care of over 170 active research participants. LCDR McGlotten is also a Nurse Officer with the United Stated Public Health Service (USPHS) Commissioned Corps (Lieutenant Commander). As an officer in the USPHS Commissioned Corps, she supports government public health goals, and often deploys in support of public health responses and emergencies. Raven earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Hampton University, and Master of Nursing degree from Benedictine University with a focus in Public Health and Health Education. |
