ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Submission Deadline: January 1 for March conference, AUGUST 1 for October conference

Call for Abstracts: Endocrine Nurses Society (ENS) invites nurses, nurse practitioners, and nursing professionals to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations

Abstract /
Outstanding Poster Award 

      • Presented to the abstract receiving the highest overall score
      • Announced at the ENS meeting
      • Author must be present to receive the award
      • Awardee will receive a certificate, eligible to be invited for oral presentation at the following ENS conference
      • Only authors who are ENS members for at least 6 months prior to submission are eligible to receive the financial award 


Abstract Guidelines

  • Length: Maximum 2,500 characters (excluding spaces)
  • Language: English only
  • Format: No figures, tables, or graphics: references optional
  • Required Elements: 
      • Research: Title, Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion/Discussion, References
      • Quality Improvement: Title, Population & Problem, Setting, Process & Implementation, Outcomes, Impact 
      • Case Study: Title, Patient demographics, clinical presentation, relevant past history, evaluation, interventions, discussion/recommendations
  • Blind Review: Do not include author names or institutions in the abstract body; list all co-authors and affiliations separately

Presentation type

      • Poster Presentation: In-person, landscape PowerPoint; authors present during assigned 10-min session

Author & Disclosure Requirements (for accepted abstracts)

  • First author must present
  • All authors must submit Conflict of Interest (COI) and Disclosure forms (report any financial relationships from the past 24 months)
  • COIs must be resolved before presenting

  • Innovations in endocrine nursing
  • Clinical and educational interventions
  • Models of care delivery
  • Public health policies
  • Original research and quality outcomes
  • Novel case studies that contribute to advanced endocrine nursing care
  • Work in progress in endocrine nursing; work must be completed by conference date

After submission

  • No edits after submission unless requested by reviewers
  • Withdrawals: email endocrinenurses@gmail.com
  • Notification of acceptance: 4-6 weeks before the conference
